Yasuaki Shimizu, Music for Commericals

if you wanted to be really obnoxious, you could call it proto-vaporwave; we’re gonna refrain. the title is literal: this is music created by composer yasuaki shimizu to soundtrack ads for bridgestone tires, seiko watches, knorr dehydrated soups, etc. sounds like: brian eno lost in an ikea, or an alternate soundtrack to todd haynes’s safe, or what you’d play to pacify an alien lifeform that really gets off on qvc. fans of anything oneohtrix point never or james ferraro should lunge at this. synergize with these brands below.”
